Only 3 big team left in and 2 of them drew each other.......we could have been on the way to a final and taken out Millwall on the way.....oh yeh just remembered we're West Ham ....course not.

After their antics at the weekend it would have either been behind closed doors or no away fans. Regardless there would have been murders.
A huge collective sigh of relief around the world of football and the metropolitan police.
Still gutted though.

Chelsea v Man U means one of them are out leaving the winner of that game and Man C as faves. Rest of the draw totally open for anyone to get to a semi final or final

The numbers are determined by when the draw was made in the previous round. i.e. Wimbledon were 2 because our tie with them was drawn 2nd in round 4....Millwall's tie was 4th out.
3rd round is alphabetcal for Prem and Championship teams

If we'd made it through to the quarters we'd have pretty much been third favourites (behind Man City and the winners of Chelsea/Man United).
Opportunity wasted.
But at least by resting key players they'll be fresh for the battle of finishing ninth instead of eleventh.
